The campsite

Just look at that sea! Gently sloping fields offer spectacular sea views from all points leading to the South West Coast Path and short walk down to some beautiful sheltered quiet sandy beaches.
Cornwall's Treloan Campsite welcomes you all year round. Our seaside holiday camping and caravan park boasts a truly spectacular coastline panorama. We are situated on the beautifully unspoilt rural Roseland Peninsula, on Cornwall's South Coast. A narrow strip of outstanding beauty - with the sea on two sides and the beautiful Fal river on another. Experience the best sandy beaches, narrow country lanes, real ale in historic pubs, churches and castles, picturesque harbours, quaint villages, cream teas. Sleepy Gerrans and buzzing fishing village Portscatho offer pubs, shops, art galleries and Post Office, and are only a short, beautiful, stroll away.
We have two camping fields ARTHUR'S FIELD and SUMMER FIELD. The main field known as Arthur's is open all year, it has hard standings and grass pitches most with electric and beautiful sea views where you can bring your own tents, caravans, trailer tents or camper vans.  We also have static caravans ( mobile homes).
The Summer Field is a lovely flat campsite with amazing sea views. It is for tents  and small camper vans only. The pitches are generous in size some with electric.  It is also a favourite with young family's and a place to go camping with friends.
It's a short walk to our two sandy coves Breackneck beach and Peters splosh. These two beaches are a bit of a scramble to get down but don't worry there is always Tatam's beach where you can walk with your pushchairs and kayaks.

Arthur's Field

Arthur's field is our main camping field which is open all year,  it boasts panaramic views of the sea and countryside. We have hard standings and grass pitches with plenty of electric and water points. The field is gently sloping with plenty of space. Caravans, Campervans, trailer tents and tents can pitch up in this field, along with our own Statics ( mobile homes). Being open all year you can come and watch the sea from your pitch and enjoy all seasons at Treloan. The village is beautiful in the winter too with empty beaches to explore and  welcoming logfires in the pubs with great food.
Dogs are most welcome on leads.

Summer Field

The Summer Field is adjacent to Arthurs field and enjoys amazing sea views. The field is flat and has a great camping feel as we only allow tents and small camper vans. There is an area where you can charge your phones which has a freezer (for freezer blocks). The pitch sizes are very generous giving a lovely feeling of space. The Summer Field is open May half term and the 6 weeks summer holidays at the moment. It is very popular with young families and couples that just want to sit, eat, drink and enjoy the sea views.
Dogs are most welcome if kept on leads.

Mobile homes

Our mobile homes are positioned on the highest point of the campsite with stunning views of the sea and countryside. We have two and three bedroom vans and you can park your car next to them.  All  have double glazing, fully-equipped kitchens, living/dining room, toilet/shower/wash basin. One bedroom has a double bed and the other bedrooms have two small single  beds.
They have heating and  are available all year round. We do not supply linen or bedding.

Camping pitches

Most pitches have electrical hook up if required. Water taps are regularly spaced, close to the pitches. Cars can be parked on your pitch or in the designated parking areas.

Coastal Path backpackers

For those walking the South West Coast Path, we can provide backpacker pitches throughout the year, we never turn backpackers away – we are right on the coastpath – two local pubs provide good food and tasty beverages!
No need to book Just turn up. You will be given a reduced rate, for one night, and if we are not too busy you may even get a cup of tea.

Pets

Pets are welcome (on leads) on site and in certain mobile homes. Please keep them under close control and clear up after them. Most of our local beaches are dog friendly all year round.

Fires

We have braziers for you to borrow on condition that you buy our seasoned logs from us and that you keep a bucket of water by the fire in case of unlikely emergencies - and elect a fire warden amongst you. We also have a Wednesday Fireside in peak season where you are welcome to join us at the Fire pit, where we are regularly joined by local shanty singers Du Hag Owr.

Barbecues

You are welcome to have barbecues but kindly place them off the grass on the bricks provided and ask where to put the ashes.
